Setting the tone for the night ahead…

This isn’t the exact set list per se, as I won’t play every track! I've been building and curating this collection, bringing together a mix of old favourites, modern remixes and feel-good singalongs.

Think of that lovely buzz as the evening guests start to arrive… everyone meeting, catching up, grabbing a drink, finding their feet and settling into the atmosphere. That sense of anticipation as the evening begins to build.

I want to create an atmosphere where people can relax, let their hair down, have a little boogie, sing along and get excited for the night ahead.

But ultimately, I'm guided by your guests. I'll be reading the room, picking up on the energy and following their lead. If everyone's happy chatting and enjoying a relaxed vibe, I'll go with that. But if they're up for a party, you can bet I'll whack up the volume, turn up the energy and get things going! I'll always have more music than I need, so there's that flexibility to go with the flow. Some tracks will make the cut, others won't. That's all part of it!

And, of course, the music will also depend on whether I'm staying on to play alongside your evening DJ.

Trust the process! There's a reason behind the selection, but no rigid plan. It's about creating the right atmosphere, at the right moment, and letting the night happen naturally.
